N.F.G. #2 Federal Credit Union participates in the Keystone Rewards, a new low-cost Stafford loan program for all Pennsylvania students who borrow for post secondary education.

     Keystone Rewards Stafford loans are lower in cost and easier to repay. The interest rate on these loans are reduced by 2% when you make your first 48 payments on time. The interest rate is further reduced by a additional 1/4% if your monthly loan payment are automatically deducted from your savings or checking account.

Keystone Rewards Eligibility

     * Pennsylvania residents attending any U.S. Department of Education approved school, anywhere.

     * Out-of-state residents attending any Pennsylvania USDE approved school.

     * No family income limits.

     * Standard Stafford eligibility.

Standard Stafford Eligibility

     * Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.

     * Be accepted for enrollment in a participating school; or if already enrolled, be making satisfactory progress.

     * Be classified as at least a half-time student and working toward a degree or certificate.

     * Not be in default on an education loan or owe any education grant refund.

     * Be registered with the Selective Service, if required.

     * Have financial need in order to receive a subsidized Stafford loan.
